Landlords can only terminate the contract if the tenant does not pay the rent or bills, if the contractual terms are broken or if the landlord wishes to sell or repopulate the property. Tenants can terminate the contract at any time. Owners have to wait six months or less on the agreement, unless they want to go to court.
